Hannah Gore (co-founder)
Hannah Gore is currently a primary-junior teacher candidate in the Faculty of Education at Queen’s University and is set to become an Ontario certified teacher in August of 2024. Hannah is pursuing a specialization in at risk-children and has mentored many students with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Hannah is very passionate about helping all students reach their full potential. She completed her Honors BSc degree, specializing in molecular biology and genetics, at the University of Guelph. She has been tutoring science and math to students from primary school through to the undergraduate level for the last five years. Hannah also runs her own tutoring business, "Hannah's Tutoring". She has extensive experience working at summer camps and even ran her own summer camp during the summer of 2020.
Talia Shafir (co-founder)
Talia Shafir is also currently a primary-junior teacher candidate in the Faculty of Education at Queen’s University and is set to become an Ontario certified teacher in August of 2024. She is pursuing a concentration in exceptional learners as part of her teaching degree. Prior to starting teacher’s college, she worked part time as an inclusive classroom support in grade 1 at the Paul Penna Downtown Jewish Day School for a year. She completed her Honors BSc degree, majoring in cognitive science and double minoring in mathematics and psychology, at the University of Toronto. She is also an NCCP level 1 certified gymnastics coach and has been teaching gymnastics to preschool and kindergarten age children for the past seven years at the University of Toronto Gymnastics Club.
